Today I received an odd letter in the mail from the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky – Dr. Albert Mohler. Sadly, I quickly discovered it was not a personal letter from Dr. Mohler to me, but a form letter to all Southern Seminary alumni.
It's odd, because I never graduated from Southern, nor even got anywhere close to graduating; I matriculated there only two semesters. Both of those semesters ('90-'91) were during the Dr. Roy Honeycutt Presidency (prior to Dr. Mohler's inauguration).

When I was in high school, I loved going to an Assembly of God church with my friends from time to time . . . and to be honest, not so much for the preaching as for the music; they knew that lively, improvisational music speaks the unspeakable words of the Spirit. At those charismatic worship services we all let the music guide the movement of our bodies in worship with the Spirit.
